Throughout my co-op placement at Ensightful, I collaborated with a group of marketing student ambassadors, my supervisor and the sales representative to come up with effective marketing campaign strategies to enhance our online presence. One of the largest campaigns that we organized was addressing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace throughout the month of July. We used a content calendar that I organized on google spreadsheets, created visual and written content addressing issues about DEI and administered an online contest. By creating this marketing campaign, I was able to increase our online engagement and we were able to double the number of subscribers to our mailing list. We were also able to analyze all of our efforts using Google Analytics, as well as the built-in analytics on each social media platform.
An example of one of our blog articles written by one of our student ambassadors addressing DEI in the workplace is linked below:

Throughout this experience, I was able to learn about project management by running the marketing student ambassador team. Taking on this leadership position really pushed me out of my comfort zone while taking initiative and being the lead person in the team. Furthermore, I also learned how to manage my time better by following a detailed and organized content plan in order to execute our campaign in a way that would increase our outreach and engagement.
